We’ve previously announced the airdrop of $LVC in three different ways. This initiative aims to bootstrap liquidity and support our community on Linea, while rewarding dedicated zkSync users. Here are the three methods through which you can get your hands on some $LVC.
1. Be a veNFT Holder on zkSyncEra
Holding a veNFT on zkSyncEra is undoubtedly the easiest way to obtain the $LVC tokens on Linea. A snapshot will be taken at the beginning of the sale, and tokens will be distributed according to the voting power. We use voting power rather than locked amount to give more benefit to people who have been locked up for a long time.
This method has the most significant token allocation of 4 million $LVC, making it an attractive option for many!
Eligibility criteria is as follows to focus most of the benefits to general voters over partner protocols.
- Holders of veNFT in Velocore on zkSync Era, with a minimum lock of 5000 $VC required (The sum of the total locked $VC if you have multiple veNFTs)
- Velocore team and protocol partners will be excluded; only $VC locks from general veNFT holders will be considered eligible
- $veVC aggregator layers that accept user’s $VC deposits will be excluded

2. Provide Liquidity on Linea
By providing liquidity to the ETH-USDC or Stable 3 pool (USDC-USDT-DAI), you automatically enter two events. Firstly, you can participate in the pre-mining event that has 1 million $LVC allocated. You can mine as per the estimated APR indicated for the pool.

But that’s not all! You also become eligible for four NFT airdrop events. Each NFT has 250k $LVC allocated. Every liquidity provider receives the first NFT. However, the top 100 liquidity providers, based on the number of $LVC pre-mined, will get the elite PFP titled “Zero, The Key of Passport”. This PFP isn’t just a limited edition, it will also serve as a boost for airdrop distributions in the future with Passport.
For bridging assets to Linea, there are various methods. The most straightforward is using our Spaceship Bridge, available on the Velocore dApp. Here you pay only the gas fee with no additional costs.
This tool lets you directly transfer ETH, USDC, USDT, DAI, and WBTC from the ETH mainnet to the Linea mainnet. Given it’s built upon Linea’s official bridge contract with just a UI layer, it’s one of the most reliable options. If your assets are on chains other than ETH, there are bridge partners with Linea that allow direct transfers of USDC and ETH to Linea.

3. Experience the Swap!
If you’re on a tight budget, but still want to earn a substantial amount of $LVC, consider trying a swap on Linea. With ample liquidity for ETH and stable tokens, you can try a variety of swaps. Our smart router will automatically find the best route, even splitting if the amount is large, ensuring gas fees are almost the same as a direct swap on a single pair thanks to our Token Vault” system. Gone are the days of paying hefty gas fees on expensive L2 chains.
For swaps of $100 or more, participants can receive a NFT with a prize pool of 250k $LVC. Additionally, if you’re in the top 100, you stand a chance to share another 250k $LVC. Just like the liquidity providing top 100, you’ll also receive a limited edition NFT titled “Aeris, The Key of Passport”.
Notes: To prevent abuse, the PFP rankings are based on swap volumes on volatile pairs only. The swap volumes shown in passport include stableswap, but not for this event. This exclusion was made due to the potential for abuse, where anyone can easily inflate swap volumes via stableswap.
In conclusion, today we’ve explored three different ways to participate in the huge $LVC launch airdrop. Given the unique prize pools for each method, we recommend exploring multiple methods to immerse yourself in the fresh Velocore V2 experience. Please be aware that the stated $LVC airdrop quantities are based on pre-sale conclusions and might be subject to adjustments if any tokens are burned, subsequently affecting the circulating supply.
