Velocore Dex’s Grand Roadmap for May: Revolutionizing the zkSyncEra Ecosystem

It’s finally here! We are excited to reveal our Grand Roadmap for May, and yes, you’ve read it right — we’re focusing on the very next month, not 2Q or 3Q. Our team at Velocore Dex has been working days and nights to bring fast innovation to zkSyncEra, and we can’t wait to share our plans with you.

We’ve achieved a lot in the past few weeks, but the most important thing is our future. To become the top decentralized exchange (DEX) in the zkSyncEra, we are renovating everything from scratch — contracts, UI/UX, marketing campaigns, and reward programs. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

After the revamp, you can expect a flood of “Velocore Forks” rather than “Solidly Forks” or “Uniswap Forks.” We’re redesigning the entire inefficient reward system while adopting the safest, state-of-the-art AMM contracts from the Balancer protocol.

1. AMM Structure:

Significantly more gas-efficient and lower slippage swaps based on the Balancer protocol.
Support various types of pools, including 80/20 pools and 3-stable-pools, and provide a whitelisting process for deploying sAMM-LP to prevent user confusion.
Adding a subgraph for the statistic reports

2. Voting System:

Removing the complex epoch system and introducing a continuous voting/bribing/rewarding system that’s much easy to understand.
Linear and predictable bribe earnings for voters. (You don’t have to wait till the end of the epoch now since there’s no epoch anymore!)
Real-time emission redirection among pairs based on votes
Introducing Fungible token (veVC) instead of NFTs for locked positions! Making locked positions more liquid is a clear trend that every Solidly fork, including Velodrome, is pursuing. We’re taking this a step further by converting locked positions into fully fungible tokens and create a pool for them. This approach aims to reduce the mental burden on users who lock their tokens, ultimately encouraging more lockups.
Plus, we’ll undergo an external audit to ensure the system’s security.

3. UI Revamp:

Completely redesigned user interface
You won’t have to connect your wallet or change networks to see Info
The new UI will be more concise and user-friendly, with easy-to-navigate voting and reward displays.

4. Overflow Launchpad:

We’re returning to the beloved overflow farming system with clear incentives for $veVC holders. Expect reasonable hard caps, more caps on whitelist rounds or farm boosts for veVC holders, LP lock and vesting on claim, and individual caps to prevent whale dumping.

5. Token Airdrop Share for the Future $zkSync:

Protocols on Arbitrum received millions of dollars’ worth of $ARB, but not many of them shared it with the community.
zkSync attracted four times more investments and has already discussed the Token Generation Event (TGE) and airdrops for contributing protocols in the future.
As the leading DEX native on zkSync, we’ll share our portion of the airdrops with the community.
$VC holders/lockers, LP providers, and traders will be eligible for the airdrops and can view their shares on the Passport. Other contributors, such as POAP holders and launchpad participants, will also receive a small percentage based on their contributions.
More details will be announced as soon as we complete the development of the passport dashboard.

6. Launching a Meme world:

Separate dashboard tab for meme tokens that meet specific criteria
Encouraging safe contracts and attracting liquidity and trading volumes.

7. Account Abstraction wallet :

Account Abstraction is the essential technology needed to open an era for a secure and convenient wallet experience. The infrastructure isn’t there yet, but since zkSyncEra supports native AA, we’ll leverage it as we go. We want to work together and push as far as we can for wallets that could revolutionize the user experience on Velocore and zkSyncEra!
