Velocore Presales Coming to a Close: Key Information for Epoch Start
As soon as Velocore launched its private and public presales, they both reached their hard cap of over 100% within just 20 minutes. The private presale for Velocore has ended with over 500% of its hard cap raised, while the public presale, which is set to end soon, is on track to exceed 1100%. Velocore’s presales will soon come to an end. The first epoch will start at 00:00 UTC on April 6th, and all features such as swap, liquidity, and governance will be fully activated. We would like to share some changes that will occur, as well as important information you should know before using Velocore. Please make sure to check the following:
Transition Period: From Presale to First Epoch and Reward Emission
There is a three-hour interval between the end of the presale and the start of the first epoch, as well as the beginning of the reward emission. This period is for the initial liquidity supplies and allows users to migrate liquidity from the deprecated event pool to the emission pool. Even after the first epoch begins, the existing event pool will not provide rewards. To receive emission rewards through LP deposits, you must deposit your assets in the new emission pool.
Following the end of the presale, and once the initial liquidity supply has been completed, users can trade through swaps, including $VC tokens and add liquidity to the new pools.
As the presale approaches its conclusion, the initial liquidity supply will be set at 105% of the public sale.
A total of 9M $VC tokens will be supplied with 216.41ETH
How to Migrate to New Pools
Managing liquidity for the existing event pool will still be available through the Velocore website, but we recommend migrating to the new pools for optimal rewards. The swap and liquidity features accessible through the current domain will focus on the new pools with emissions. The liquidity page will continue to display both the new liquidity pools with rewards and the deprecated event pools that require migration. To manage liquidity migration for the event pools, users can find access to the deprecated old pools at the bottom of the liquidity page.
Closing the POAP Airdrop Event: Process and Future Role
POAP airdrop event will end with the presale. Transactions occurring after the presale will not have any effect on the eligibility for claiming POAPs. POAPs will not be claimable immediately following the end of the presale. The Velocore team will work to identify and verify Velcrew members who have fulfilled the criteria, a process that may require some time. We will provide further updates once the airdrop preparations have been completed. The $VC token airdrop for POAPs will be distributed with a vesting or lockup period, not all at once. POAPs for early Velcrew members will play a significant and continuous role within the Velocore universe in the future.
